Are there guidelines for Clan War Attack Strategies?

  1. Use the strongest strategy for your Town Hall Level and Troop Strengths and those of your target.
  2. Don't be CHEAP or LAZY with your Clan War Attacks.
  3. Choose from one of the following sanctioned Attack Strategies.
    Giants+Wizards+Healers (good for TH6's & TH7's attacking other TH6's and TH7's)
Mass Dragons (also good for attacking weaker TH8's and all TH7's and TH6's)
    Dragloon (good for stronger TH8's)
    Lavaloon
    GoWiPe
    GoWiWi
    Hogs+Valks
    Surgical Hogs.
  4. Goblins have NO PLACE in a Clan War Attack ... NONE.
  5. Barbarians & Archers (Barching) is also not a suitable Clan War Attack Strategy.
  6. Above all Do Not use the Kitchen Sink attack strategy where you use a hand full of sevel different troop types. This never ends well.
  7. Make a SPECIFIC Request when requestion Troops for you Clan War Attack. Ask for troops that will actually assist you in achieving THREE STARS.
  8. Spells are also an IMPORTANT consideration. With Mass Dragons as a TH7 or a TH8 (for example) take THREE Rage or THREE Lightning. If you want to ZAP an Air Defense you'll need to aim carefully and you'll need to use THREE Lightning spells. Second Best for Mass Dragons is Two Rage (to get your dragons into the Air Defenses) and One Lightning (for the Enemy Clan Castle Troops).
  9. PRACTICE your Clan War Attack Strategy OUTSIDE of the Clan War environment.  Get yourself up to Crystal League or higher and use your Clan War Attack for Looting. Practce makes perfect.
  10. If you have questions ... ASK!

What about Rushed Town Halls?

Generally speaking Rushed TH's will not be included in Clan Wars.

If your base is horribly Rushed, you may be considered for dismissal.

When will I get Promoted?

Do not ask for a promotion. You will be promoted when you have earned it,

Elder is earned through Donations. Refer to the FAQ about Donations.

Co-Leader positions are limited and awarded only after we get to know you.

Use of WeChat is strongly encouraged.

Dude's handle on WeChat is DudeFromWa. Drop him a text and you'll be added to the group chat.

What if I cannot be active for many days or weeks due to Work/Life/Family obligations?

If you know that you'll be inactive ... Please visit your Profile Page in the Game and OPT OUT of the Clan Wars. There is no penality for OPTing OUT of the Clan Wars, but you may be booted if you FAIL to use you Clan War Attacks.

What if I just want to FARM and don't want to participate in the Clan Wars?

This is a War Clan, so PERMANENT FARMING is DISCOURAGED.  With that said, if you are active in the Clan Chat and you are GENEROUS with your Troop Donations, your farming ways will be tolerated.
